This is a terrific story, I just would like to know more. I find it hard to believe that the Taliban would leave hostages unguarded to the extent that they could literally escape by jumping over a wall. Also, the length of Rohde's captivity is odd--the article mentions the CBC's reporter that was kidnapped was released within a month after the Afghani government applied pressure on the Taliban. What made the situations different? I'm very happy for Rohdes, but the article left me asking more questions than it answered.
