Both Sides Claim Victory in Presidential Election in Iran

Iran’s state-run news agency said Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had won Iran’s presidential election in a landslide just two hours after the polls closed Friday night. But his main rival, Mir Hussein Moussavi, announced defiantly that he had won and charged that there had been voting “irregularities.” Full Story »

Brief upbeat look at the candidates and a few short interviews. Little spin or history..

after reading this I like democracy and feel good about the other humans way over there on the other side of the world. The somewhat nutty Ahmadinejad had made many good points over the last few year which MSM does not find interesting. oh well
