Poorly contextualized piece with a messy top-half. The author was groping for a quick hit with this story but missed it. Allows a lot of political posturing and doesn't inform on the bigger picture of the negotiation process for a reform bill.

Interesting report about how conservative house democrats (Blue Dogs) may participate in the upcoming health care debate in Congress. This article provides some new information on this topic, but its use of the term 'backsliding' doesn't seem fair -- the reporter did not speak directly to the reprentatives, and it is not clear that all of them are shifting their position.

The title is misleading, as in the artlcle we understand that taking the 'trigger' position is a negotiation position. My biggest criticism, however, is the lack of context. Where does the 'trigger' system fit into the spectrum of health care reform proposals? See Ezra Klein's Wapo piece (links) for background.
