Fairly good report, which should have mentioned that the Christians are 30% of the population and receive 50% of the seats in parliament. The Christians have six or seven times as many members of parliament as Hezbollah. Many Christians see Hezbollah as a means of protecting their country from Israel.

Hezbollah will keep its private army but will continue to integrate itself into Lebanese civil society and politics. This is a good thing. Israel appears to be the greatest threat to peace in the region.
