One of the better synopsis I've read on Obama's speech, it conveyed Obama's message in it's content, and also in its excellent writing.

So-so report on Obama's Cairo speech. Whether Obama can deliver real change in US policy reamins to be seen. He is not getting out of Iraq, and he is enlarging the US military presence in Afghanistan. The Zionist lobby in the US may prevent him from pressuring Israel to end the occupation of the West Bank and the Golan Heights.

Israel will destroy itself if it fails to get out of the West Bank and the Golan Heights. Will Israel grossly injure the interests of the US in ... More »

Written for a conventional daily newspaper, this piece was analysis and therefore to some extent subjective. That said the subjectivity compared to coverage from other news organizations is moderate and interpretation of the impact and reaction of the President's speech.

(Blog Post) What struck me most about Barack Obama's speech today in Cairo is what was missing: Iraq. He didn't skip Iraq entirely, but his discussion of it was perfunctory and incomplete.
