Though the multiple authors' command of English varies from excellent to marginal, this is definitely worth reading. The vast cultural texture of Islamic thought and practice emerges from this varied presentation of perspectives.

It gives a perspective from muslim women on why Islam does not discriminate against them,

I cannot help but be reminded of the black South Africans that gave similar interviewes in the 60.s and 70s.
