Another solid piece of journalism from the AP. Not intended to be an overview of Less Than Lethal arms; clear and well sourced. A longer treatment could have added some balance or analysis - does equiping the Army with LTL weapons make it more likely that soldiers will be pressed into police-like duties? How effective and lethal have other LTLs proven to be? Would a layer of aluminum foil, er, foil this weapon?
