Note:
It's not insignificant that Sotomayer has diabetes, nor is irrelevant to ask questions about her health -- the press did the same with regard to Dick Cheney's heart problems. But this story could have been better written. It reads like a Wikipedia article on the disease, with light references to Sotomayer and a press quote from the American Diabetes Association. The information is helpful, but I don't see a lot of effort on the part of Time.
