This is the only report I've seen that deflates the myth that the Democrats have drastically different aims in the Medicare prescription debate, and that their latest effort is toothless. That probably requires a news source that has no financial interest in making more money for drug companies that buy advertisements.

A brief but excellent overview of the "necromancy" born of part D in ignorance and maintained through functional bewilderment. As a geriatric participant, I gnash my teeth regularly over this hostage-taking program spawned by big PhRMA. It is really dumb in so many aspects. This is pointed out in moderation.

They repeat the Republican talking point that this bill does nothing, without examining the truth of the statement. Why would the government not be able to negotiate lower prices now the Republican ban on doing so has been lifted? They suggest it has something to do with formularies, but they don't bother to understand what.
