Very fine summary of the reasons Ukraine should not be admitted to NATO. The author underscores the insane level of US "defense" spending that severely injures the US economy which must compete with other countries not hampered by the colossal millstone.

Ukraine and Georgia both should not be admitted to Nato and both should not be admitted into the EU. Ukraine can enjoy good relations with Russia and with the EU, staying outside Nato and the EU. Many of those in the US who push hard for the admission of Ukraine into Nato also want Israel admitted, which would destroy the alliance and endanger the peace of the world.
