This is much less journalism than an interview of an author who is plugging his latest book. A synopsis of the book is offered by the author, and the interviewer presents no challenging questions, only softballs. Interesting topic.
Yes, this is quality journalism, though in a Q&A format, interviewing Michael Pollan, (professor of science and environmental journalism at University of California, Berkeley, and author of numerous books including the best seller The Omnivore’s Dilemma) and writing about his research –this is the best format in order not to miss such important information after all he is an eloquent journalist.
