There's no quotes from the Amazon people, or from customers who have liked the device.

I'm not sold on the Kindle as a perfect ebook reader either, but the report out interview a few people who have used it successfully.

Informative. I felt that some quotes could have been added . I would have liked to know more about the digital books. Would they be like text books in almost every way? How much would they cost?

Not really, but it doesn't need to be. It is merely speculating on rumors about the prospects for the next version of the Kindle, specifically how it might become the replacement for the traditional textbook, and what the ramifications might be to publishers and consumers.
