I had read about the methane issue. And I've seen quite a few stories about the permafrost problem. In Canada and Alaska, there are mining communities where they've had to find new, more expensive, ways to bring in supplies because the permafrost roads they used to rely on are not frozen for enough of the year any more. This piece brings both stories together and provides a wealth of detail. Very interesting.
