Outstanding report from Pullitzer prize-winner PolitiFact, which has researched 21 claims made by the Obama White House this year, and rated them with their 'Truth-O-Meter.' Each claim was thoroughly fact-checked, with reliable sources and nonpartisan context. This report highlights some of their key findings on claims made about the economy, health care, the education and other important public issues. A wonderful resource to offset partisan or superficial coverage of Obama's first 100 days in office.

The Obama White House's claims were generally reliable, though far from perfect. As of April 22, 2009, PolitiFact found 52% of their claims to be true, and 29% to be false. Be sure to check their new 'Obameter,' which rates over 500 promises made by Barack Obama's last year (see link).
