Glenn Beck and the rise of Fox News' militia media

Fox News is playing an increasingly erratic and dangerous game by embracing paranoid insurrection rhetoric and conspiracy theorists.

Beck's sure "[d]epression and revolution" are what await America under Obama, and fears moving "towards a totalitarian state." The country today sometimes reminds Beck of "the early days of Adolf Hitler." Beck thinks that Obama, who has "surrounded himself by Marxists his whole life," is now "addicting this country to heroin -- the heroin that is government slavery." Full Story »

A fascinating look at the far right as the wheels come off the wagon. Looks at Glenn Becks way of handling the news, paranoia all over. Loads of personalities in on this growing hype storm. A good in depth look and worthy read.

While I am, as many here know, not an Obama fan, but once in office.he is ALL of ours President. Its fair enough to be tough and expect a lot. But this kind of lunacy for ratings can , as we've seen be very dangerous. FOX does it for ratings...the viewers miss the disconnect.
