Chomsky has a nasty habit of bringing up histories of events and policies, which disrupt many mainstream false narratives that pass in mainstream US corporate speak and military speak. This interview is informative and stimulating with breadth and insights.

You must read and understand history to know where we are and where we are going.

Noam Chomsky says Russia, Iran, China and other countries in the vicinity of Afghanistan want to take the lead in working out a solution to the instability, and they also want US military forces out of Central Asia. Chomsky says the new Israeli government is extrmely hostile to an independent Palestine which is the only solution available to the Israel/Palestine problem. This is boring journalism. Who cares what crazy Noam has to say? This guy talks like he writes. He can't say anything in a straight forward way.
