This is an amusing clip, but they don't make the case all the way. It seems pretty reasonable to infer from the few contradicting sources they cite that the huge numbers reported by Obama's critics are inaccurate, but the Daily Show team probably could have proven that definitively, and they don't here.

As usual, Jon Stewart proves to be the most reasonable voice on news today. Only in America would we turn to a comedian for real insight into the sensationalism that the news industry has become.
