An informative look at This American Life's acclaimed series of explanatory reports on the financial crisis. Despite the complexities of the issues, it's not impossible to publish a smart, clear, plain-English story about the financial crisis.

the writer lauds 'this american life' on npr as having the ability to explain to the average 'american' why and how this economic situation evolved, in ways that makes it all understandable. ., implying how very important that is, and should also be to those who are attempting to create recovery from it.

McIntyre calls well-deserved attention to a highly regarded series of financial reports on "This American Life," an NPR program not generally known for that sort of thing.
