The proposals the author makes herein are not sophisticated or new. Being spotted with lame rhetorical questions ("So where does this leave us?"), generalizations ("It's truly the time of relevance or death") and cliches (the awful "Only time will tell"), nothing in this piece convinces me I'm reading an insightful observer of media -- which, I might add, is not a singular noun!
