The announcement of the report includes links to more details and the full report. Lobbying and campaign contributions by rich corporations are accompanied by former officials betraying their status by working as lobbyists to corrupt the system for short term profit.

We need voter-owned elections via public financing of elections and inaugurations.

This article is aimed at a particular conclusion. I think the conclusion is a valid one but from the standpoint of objective journalism, it should have considered opposing views and possible alternative interpretations of the data.
