Juan Cole is always worth reading. If Israel is so chaotic in its governming structure so as to be unable to act in its own interest, Obama needs to step up to the plate. This means declaring the US supports the Saudi peace plan, with minor revisions. This in turn means Israel must get out of the West Bank and the Golan Heights, or expect to cease being a "Jewish" state.
