The Secret to Rush's Success... Indifference

(Blog Post) Have to admit – I’m sort of fascinated with Rush Limbaugh these days. Terribleness aside, it’s been fascinating to see his revival in the mainstream news of late. And yes, his revival is a problem for Republicans – but not for the reason you think. Full Story »

Interesting thoughts on the "Rush Problem," focusing on Limbaugh's motivation for his public persona and his impact on the political arena.

Equally interesting to have a discussion--in the media--of dealing with Limbaugh's craving for media attention by ignoring him. Viewing Limbaugh as ... More »

Limbaugh is an entertainer. Period. Full Stop. Steele was right about that. He’s not a policy guy – he’s not a party guy. He’s a glorified – though very ... More »

This article nails Rush to the door and should be a primer for Democrats about how to react to his money-making behavior.

Limbaugh is a shill for Rove, who is the real neocon dog in the neocon manger . The one who’s reinterpreting his role in the tax giveaways, the ... More »

This article tried and failed to capture the real Rush Limbaugh.Rush is a narcissus .He thinks the planets (even the new found ones) evolve around him. He has never met a mirror his fat face could fit into. Why are theses morons pleading with Rush on bended knees, to forgive them. Are they afraid of the "Dittoheads". The last time he called out the Ditoheads (Theres supposely millions of them) to demonstrate, I believe ten showed up) He's a joke.

Mr.Steel, head of the Republican Party, groveled at Rush feet recently. As Tom Petty said "it's good to be King".

Publius provides some insight, but it is a dismal topic.

The quote summarizes it well.

He’s not a policy guy – he’s not a party guy. He’s a glorified – though very successful – shock jock. He wants to cause outrages. He craves press – ... More »

One could hardly call this quality journalism. Publius (whose avatar is a kitten aiming a rifle from a window) doesn't give one the sense he has actually listened to Limbaugh's radio show, but offers us a one-note character analysis of the man in this thin, brief op-ed.

From the distant outside, Limbaugh seems a vulgarian, a shock jock, like Stern. Like Coulter, he's also a hater, who panders to those who "think ... More »

It's a good observation on Limbaugh and a interesting opinion piece. As a op ed article worthy of a read and provoking thoughts it's excellent journalism.

Limbaugh was a failure at everything he did before he discovered right wing hate talk. Now he has a $400 million dollar contract and his talking ... More »
