Live Blog from DC

(Blog Post) ...marchers are gathering in the park just to the south of the Capitol, a few blocks from the Capitol Power Plant....chanting "Clean Coal is a Dirty Lie,"... It's an energetic crowd, on a very windy and cold day, though the sun keeps attempting to break through... This reminds me of the fantastic creativity that protesters put into their signs and chants, and even what they wear.

The children there have the lung capacity of a 20 year old smoker. All over the U.S. there are signs, "NO Smoking" in most office building. bars, buses, subways, etc,.etc. Yet you don't have city commissioners go to coal minds and breathing this foul air. If this country can't burn coal in a clean way, ... More »

I didn't know that the Capitol Power Plant was coal-run until I read this post.
