The most thorough treatment I have read regarding the events leading up to Gulf War I, though I would stop short of endorsing Nora Eisenberg's view that 9/11 was strictly a "cause and effect" event that we brought upon ourselves. (In fact we may one day find that the truth is uglier than that.) For those who wish to understand Gulf War I, and its aftermath, I highly recommend this story.

I remember when Bush was making his case for the invasion. The author was right-on in his report of the events that happened. With sources to back him up, the author takes us back, to another Bush/Cheney war. If our Ambassador would have even hinted at the possibility of America entering this war, it would have never happened. It's hard to imagine two ex-Presidents, father and son, with the blood of millions on their hands for no reason except for oil.

How Cheney can sleep at night, if he can, with the decisions he has made to murder so many people, is beyond reason.
