A thoughtfully constructed article about a grassroots effort to preserve a local African-American history on the Web.

I'm inspired by how so many people came together in Western Maryland to make this site possible. This is a great model for other communities to follow.

This is a well sourced, thoughtfully told story of one man's effort to chronicle a community's African American history on the web. Great story. Great writing.
