The 911 commission drew generally positive reviews??? Mr. Shane fails to note that the 911 commission served to shield bad actors and actually hide the truth from the public. He doesn't ask or wonder if Mr. Leahy is actually seeking to shield bad actors and hide the truth from the public in the same way that the 911 commission did. Mr Shane could have done more on the benefits of criminal prosecutions. I still recommend this piece.

From Honest Abe, to Sen.Leahy, corruption has been a part of America since the founding fathers. It's not what was done, it's if you learned anything from it. It is vital that we learn what the Bush Administration did, when they did it and who they did it to. This is American history and should be taught in schools just like any other historic act.
