Mr. Shear and Kane offer a balanced political analysis of the huge bet the respective political parties are making in (largely) uniformly standing for or against the large stimulus package for our country. This is worth reading and considering.

A decent look at the partisan positioning on the stimulus bill. This is an article people can look back to in 2010. I thought the historical analogies were contrived and put in for effect, rather than adding substance to the reporting.

A fairly balanced picture of the current stimulus battle. It's only right Republicans begin an economic debate concerning everyone's worry about the federal deficit. While the two parties butt heads, the people are just waiting for some results. The authors have written a great article without taking sides which is great in these days of having to check every fact before you can digest your breakfast. With the Democrats crowing way to early, and the Republicans damning the bill to hell, what the nations needs to do is "Just breathe"

How the republicans can talk fiscal restraint with a straight face is astonishing. I don't believe Cantor has the respect or the balls of Gingrich.
