Journalism doesn't have to be a work of art to be effective and relevant, as the Politico shows in this piece. Reporting here was simple and straightforward but enterprising, as 99 Senators were asked to disclose who prepares their taxes and whether they've ever experienced any errors or discrepancies on returns. A good scrub. Nothing glamorous, but I wish we saw more of this kind of reporting.

Sources from the source, not bad.I could think of a hundred more questions that I'd like to ask people in D.C.' and taxes does not make the top 99.

It's kind of funny when Senators and congressmen use others to fill out their taxes and they are as we speak voting on trillion dollar budgets. Who ... More »
