Watching the Obama Administration take the reins of government during the last couple of weeks, something seemed missing. Reading this opinion column, I realize what I've missed. Obama's attempts to inspire has been directed toward the uninspired members of Congress. Here he uses insight, vision and eloquence to communicate directly with the American people. Masterful.

While President Obama makes some great points, so do I. He needs to quit trying to win over every Republican in Congress and do what he said he was going to do. Republicans treated the Dem's like shit for eight years and you think you can win them over. It seems to me your're almost letting them write the whole package. To hell with Rush and co., You need to walk the walk and talk the talk. Let's get this DONE!
