Over half a million people lost their jobs last month. There's no question we need a job-creation plan. The real question is what kind of plan will most quickly stimulate the economy and at the same time provide the best long-term investment for our nation.

Clearly written and original. To make this a truly compelling opinion piece, the writer needs to link to studies or sources which support her claims. While the author herself is an expert in this field, including other sources would make this more informative and complete.

I agree. We need much more investment in "human capital".
