An indictment of sorts, this opinion piece suggests that economic models used to evaluate where stimulus money should go shortchanges the importance of developing our human infrastructure at a time when we are moving from an industry based economy to an information/knowledge based economy. The author provides thought-provoking solutions based in re-educating and training our population to care for one another and the world.

This is a very forward thinking piece that closely matches what many of my less progressively minded friends would call utopian thinking. I find these to be very practical recommendations.
