While brief, this article does explain recent event regarding action against the immigration law in Arizona. It does not provide an indepth look on the issue, but does talk about recent events as well as quoting the US District Judge who has been ruling over courst cases regarding the immigration law. I did not have many questions before reading this article so it mainly just provided new information. I do think that this article can spark dialogue about the issue since this topic is already so controversial. Depending on your side on the issue, these new rulings could either add to or subtract from your evidence for your opinion. There is definitely a racial element to this article since it does plainly deal with race, immigration, and discrimination For the framing of this article, the author is stating the facts. This is not an opinion piece so the author has chosen to provide new news on the subject, use a couple of sources, quote the US District Judge over seeing the case, and that is it.
