Needs a source for "experts estimate that...", and in a few other places. The writing is compelling, and details like how many times the machete is swung in a day are interesting.

Well-written story about the many negatives of sugar and ethanol, especially regarding human rights.

Energy conservation and honey. Soon there will be a power point presentation (may be there now) on "deep energy" and the Passive House movement at www.ehw.org.
