this is not quality journalism by any means. it is a rant. its only justification is that it's an obvious expression of frustration/anger about feeling total lack of control over so much of what happens within our daily lives; a feeling which many feel but do not or can not express directly themselves.

Mr. Volaar titles his essay "God Cares," then begins with a broad swipe at "religious bullshit' (never defined), then strays wildly with a scatter-shot harangue on "fat, stupid, rich people." A provocative piece, too poorly organized, edited and hateful to be very illuminating.

This could have been written today or thousand years ago. Get rid of the rich, problem solved. Bullshit. Get rid of the rich, and the brightest of the rest will rise will rise up to take their place. Do you think they will share their wealth with the dumb.? They may be allowed to pave the road to the brightest houses.
