Olbermann is one of the best questioners in television, second only maybe to Rachel Maddow. Often accused of being an ultra-liberal or far-left, he actually is just the most intelligent journalists out there. This interview is excellent partly because it is an issue that other programs wouldn't have the courage to investigate, even though the threat from the Bush administration against journalism itself is palpable. I started watching Countdown when Olbermann started doing his Special Comments. He keeps my hopes up, and I hope he will continue with quality cable journalism despite his superstardom. He, Maddow, Stewart, and Colbert satisfy my need for intelligent commentary on the day. I and my wife and our 14 year-old daughter miss them when they are not on.
