DoH to promote ‘natural,’ ‘artificial’ methods of family planning
The Department of Health (DoH) Wednesday said it would actively promote both “natural” and “artificial” methods of family planning, following President Benigno Aquino III’s remarks that he supported the use of contraceptives.
“Both will be actively promoted,” Health Secretary Enrique Ona said at a press conference at the DoH central office.
