This is a literate opinion piece, full of hope, that made me as an Obama supporter feel good. However, I don't believe that the writer makes his points of courage and unique skill very convincingly. It might better be titled "Obama has the talents of a great leader," since the qualities of courage and practical skill are not demonstrated in the piece.

An excellent article comparing the President's from FDR to Lincoln to our newest occupant of the White House. Two war's and a economy that will be hard pressed to fix in one term, much less two. He will not witness easily the "Better angels of our nature" in a partisan Washington.

As President's go, with Lincoln as his hero, he could have done worse.
