Excellent fact-checking, which provides a helpful overview of over 500 campaign promises made by Barack Obama last year. PolitiFact has tracked and researched all these promises, some more thoroughly than others, but always with good sourcing and context from a neutral perspective.

A breath of fresh air in the midst of so much partisan or superficial coverage of Obama's progress so far. The good news is there appears to be more promises kept than broken, and quite a few are already in the works after only three months in office. As of April 16, 2009, 26 promises have been kept, while 6 were broken, 59 are in the works and 413 show now action.
