There are rumors that the Israeli government may declare a unilateral cease fire Saturday. They had better. Interesting roundup of personal observations and third-party news clips on the war in Gaza. The author makes a reasonable point that Israel may be declaring a cease fire today in order to avoid further negative public relations, in light of the upcoming U.S. inauguration of its first African-American president on Tuesday.
