If Barack Obama wants to change the Middle East for the better, he'll have to rethink the notions of democracy that the Bush administration found so easy to espouse, yet so hard to manage. While going around the Middle East, the author brings up problems that need an Admim. that can bring the parties to a table that has enough for all parties to participate in. Bush leaves the Middle East a lot worse off than when he found it.

The mourning news brings us news that Lebanon is now launching bombs at Israel. With Israel fighting a war on two sides, negotiating with Gaza seems to be the best thing in Israel interests.
