A well-rounded comparison of recent Bush legacy coverage, but somewhat inconclusive. The level of analysis was lower than I thought it could have been. I expected more of an assessment on the tone of coverage across publications.

Informative video montage of news clips from public broadcasters around the world, showing how they have covered the Bush legacy. The report mixes footage from China, U.S., Russia, Qataqr, France, South Korea and the U.K. It spends a bit more time on the shoe incident than we needed, but it also makes the segment more interesting to watch. A good example of how cultures from very different perspectives reacted in similar ways to the Bush presidency.

The collage of videos is relatively short and employs some humor in the peculiar task of presenting the legacy of a president whose legacy is relentlessly a negative legacy.

This video is worth watching despite its unrelentingly negative take on the Bush legacy. With no pretense of balance, the video will undoubtably appeal to viewers in Europe, and elsewhere, whose regular consumption of anti-Bush rhetoric primes them to welcome such fare. Especially recommended for Americans who are in denial as to Bush's overwhelming unpopularily abroad.
