Bush is sworn in as the 43rd president of the United States. In foreign affairs he promises an approach that will depart from the perceived adventurism of his predecessor, Bill Clinton, in places such as Kosovo and Somalia. (“I think the United States must be humble,” Bush said in a debate with his ... Full Story »

There is a lot of material quoted from prime actors in the tragedy. Most of it is not new, but it is an interesting (and long) compendium.

Reading this is like reliving a very bad nightmare. I got so depressed after 6 pages, I speed-read the rest. A real nightmare. Since it is real, ... More »

The article contains a series of sourced quotations relating to specific aspects of the administration. Not all are ... More »

Outstanding compedium of comments and observations of those close to the decision-making in the White House, especially regarding Iraq. George W. Bush comes across as arrogant and ignorant to an extent that boggles the mind. Bush said it would be unlikely that civil war would erupt in the wake of the removal of Saddam Hussein. Dick Cheney threatened the arms inspectors who voiced doubts about Iraq having any WMD. In fact, Cheney already knew Iraq had no WMD, but this fact does ... More »

Bush seems to have been the dupe of the neocons and the other warmongers, particularly those surrounding Dick Cheney. Bush's incompetence truly is astounding.

Besides the few books from various turncoats that have came out since Bush was elected, this is the most informative and riveting article I have read. While in the future a lot more information will come out for the time being this is the best and most thorough article I've read.

If this information is not enough to appoint a special prosecutor then the Justice Department should close their doors. I hate to put this on ... More »
