DemocracyNow is unapologetically left-of-center, but in this interview Amy Goodman at least attempts to be fair, bringing up President Ford's amnesty for draft dodgers, among other things. So I wouldn't call this piece one-sided. Unnecessarily long and eye-glazing, perhaps, but not one-sided. The answer to the title question, by the way, is, after all that, still "dunno".

The story appears to be an attempt to dig up old graves. If you belive that Nixon workers did something extraordinary in breaking into a Democratic Office then one would have to be extraordinarily naive. Nixon agents got caught, but all contenders are trying to find dirt or strategies on opponents. Someone in each contenders staff or bizarre followers are going to attempt to dig up dirt. Few get caught, but undoubtedly there are many that succeed in obtaining information unfavorable to their opponents. If it were an impeachable offence it would have been detrimental to the country since the end goal was to oust Nixon and that was a success for the Democrats.
