the topic here is important, but the story is disappointing. in addition to lack of depth, implying a possible issue of policy disagreement wit h the president without more information or more than one other source besides holbrooke's own words, seems unethical.

i have had great respect for mr. holbrooke's analyses on many foreign policy issues and wish this piece had more depth and information.

She's gotta bring the evidence to entertain the crowd. I guess , we're gonna have to hang a bit more in the search of a conclusive scenario about this policy conundrum.
