India's other dangerous neighbor

Much has been said in recent days of Pakistan's involvement in the Mumbai bombings. But it's not the only neighbor to the north the India might need to worry about. Cursory assessment of India's potential causes for concern with two other neighboring countries: Nepal and Bangladesh. The borders are porous, the neighbors are armed and chaotic. What's missing is the 'why'. To understand the potential dangers, at least some mention is needed of the long-standing political, economic, tribal and religious conflicts throughout the region.

It's nice to read a small article with a lot of facts. I'm read many articles three times as long with three times less information.

With India under the gun, it's bad to have to look all around you and not know which way it's coming.
