Dad died here in Washington of an antibiotic resistant staff infection in bed sores, incurred in an adult family home that was closed for resident abuse later. The problem can be very personal, and government oversight is strongly called for. Fed rules should also make it easier to buy equipment that helps prevent bed sores.
