Petty. Uses an obscure argument between conservatives to claim broader problems within the GOP. Source is liberal -- why not go to conservatives for comment?

It is a friendly interview with a Democratic partisan. No deep issues or insights. Perhaps a bit of overconfident gloating.

This biased news report from Keith Olbermann makes a mountain of a mole hill. He presents a distorted view of the Republican Party's challenges, by showing a short film clip of two conservatives arguing with each other, followed by an interview with a Democratic strategist. At no point in this report are views from the right or center presented with any fairness, depth or respect. I find this report to be slanted, poorly sourced, and irresponsible.

There is nothing about ths story that is bad journalism. Everything is well researched and able to be verified. The concusion, for me, is more about left wing "wishful thinking" than actual fact. Sure the Republcans are going through a tough time but they are far from "death door" as this story would have you believe. Also in the opinion interview a couple of things stand out. * Yes the GOP has only 20% identifying themselves but voting intentions are far greater. Actual races - ... More »
