The article advocates some major mind-shifts in what energy policies are politically practical in the current timeframe. It is interesting and thoughtful.

These guys are right that carbon reduction is going no place because raising the price of gas is not good politics. Investing in research can easily be overdone. They seem to think the more money the better. That they are so quick to abandon CO2 reduction shows they don't really believe in global warming.
