The opinion piece looks at the Bush/Cheney administration policies that spawn terrorists faster than they can kill them, and questions the effectiveness of such policies moving forward.

Obama's pandering to revenge motives in focusing on killing Osama does not bode well for immediate improvement unless there is a lot of bottom up democracy pushing for a more enlightened strategy.
