This is an opinion piece that speculates on why a majority of black voters in California supported Proposition 8's ban on same-sex marriage -- and proposes a strategy for changing that in the future. It's an interesting piece but in spite of its sourcing it's hardly conclusive. Nevertheless, the advice appears to be sound.
